Banana Nut Bread
Great to take to a Holiday Party.  Can be served with a meal or part of a desert table.

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 4 oz. Butter
  • 1 2/3 cups Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 3 Tbls. Sour Cream
  • 5 small Bananas (ripe and soft)
  • 3/4 cup Walnuts

DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Butter and flour 6 cup bundt pan.

  1. Sift together first three ingredients and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar and salt on low speed.
  3. Add 2 eggs, vanilla and sour cream, continue to mix until incorporated.
  4. Add dry ingredients, continue to mix.
  5. Add bananas and walnuts and mix well.
  6. Place ingredients into the bundt pan and bake 1 hour, until a toothpick inserted removes clean.
  7. Remove from oven, let cool in the pan for 1/2 hour before removing.
